Christos is currently a Research Assistant and a PhD student in the Computational Sciences program at the CaSToRC of The Cyprus Institute.
He holds an MSc in Physics and a BSc in Physics from the University of Cyprus. His research focuses mainly on the computational study of the theory of strong interactions, known as lattice QCD, and in particular on hadron structure. During his under-graduate and post-graduate studies he has gained experience in high-performance computing on massively parallel computer architectures.
His Master thesis was entitled "Baryon spectrum and the proton spin from lattice QCD". His diploma thesis was entitled "Moments of Generalized Parton Distributions from Lattice QCD".
He has worked one year as a post-graduate fellow at the University of Cyprus under the project "Hadronic Structure from Lattice QCD".
His research interests are mainly Lattice QCD, High Performance Computing and Programming on many-core architectures.
