Corrado joined the Energy Environment and Water Research Center (EEWRC) of the Cyprus Institute in July 2012. His main research interests include coupled atmospheric-hydrologic modeling, the applicability of remote sensing and 3D imaging for soil erosion monitoring, digital soil mapping, and the downscaling of climate models through statistical methods, mainly weather generators. Prior to that, as part of his PhD, he studied the triggering mechanisms of superficial landslides over terraced slopes. His background is mainly geological as he has a MSc in Engineering Geology (2008) and a PhD in Earth Sciences (2012), both from the University of Milan (Italy).
